Sistema Norwich offers a rounded music education opportunity aimed at supporting access to instrumental teaching and being part of an orchestra.
All children participate twice a week after school, covering four sessions: instrument lesson, orchestra/ensemble, general musicality and choir. All teaching is in groups, provision is free, and instruments are supplied.
Beginners undertake a 5-week carousel across all our instrument groups to support the choice of instrument.

How to join
Register your interest
A high-level overview looking at the structure of the units, the range of learning activities and supporting documentation.
This session will focus on 7-11 year olds.
Register to attend
You can uke! This face to face CPD aims to give classroom teachers the skills and confidence required to teach ukulele in the whole class setting. You will learn how to: tune a ukulele, play at least four chords and where to find helpful resources, taking away several songs to teach to your class. No previous ability required to participate.
Ukuleles will be provided for the session.

Repertoire
Beginner Ensemble Norwich is an ensemble that caters for beginner wind, brass, string, and percussion instrumentalists as well as any other instrumentalists that would like to join an ensemble. The music is arranged to suit the players and as long as you can play 2 notes you are welcome to come and join in.
You may be having individual instrumental lessons or learning in school as part of the Classroom Instrumental Learning programme (CIL), but however you are learning you are very welcome to come along and give it a try.

Music making for everyone! Join Attleborough Music Project on a musical adventure exploring sounds, singing, playing instruments, moving to the beat, learning new skills, working together as a team and making new friends.
The event is open to all primary school-aged children (Reception-Y6).

If your child is eligible for FSM this event is completely FREE and includes lunch. If not you can still join us for £7 per day lunch included or £2 if you would prefer to bring your own packed lunch.
