Using Sparkyard, the award-winning subscription platform from Out of the Ark, this energising workshop explores how embedding singing across the school day can support wellbeing and strengthen your whole school community. The session will be co-hosted with Ruth Harrison from St Nicholas Priory- one of Norfolk and Suffolks Lead Schools, and will be accessible to teachers at all schools within the hub
In this session, participants will:
- Explore how singing can enhance both pupil and staff wellbeing, helping to create a strong sense of belonging
- Gain simple, practical ideas for welcome songs, transitions, brain breaks, and moments of calm
- Discover how choosing the right songs can bring the curriculum to life and provide an inclusive starting point for all learners, including children with SEND
- Consider ways to involve pupils, families, and the wider school community in singing
- Be inspired by real stories from our growing community of Sparkyard schools and leave with fresh, achievable ideas to bring back to your setting.
