Hundreds of red poppy leaves made by schoolchildren from the Great Yarmouth area will cascade from the ceiling of the town’s Hippodrome Circus at a Festival of Remembrance on Armistice Day to commemorate the end of the First World War. Singers from Norwich Young Voices will be joining The Orchestrate! Project as they perform in this special event.

Get in the festive spirit with the Great Yarmouth Schools’ Music Association at their ’68th Festival of Carols, their biggest event of the year. This event takes place over two nights, 4th and 5th December 2018, and involves over 300 voices from Primary and Secondary Schools as well as Academies and Colleges from the Great Yarmouth area who experience playing, singing and performing live music together.
East Norfolk students present their summer concert, including solos and ensembles from jazz trio, funk band to choir.

The Great Yarmouth Schools’ Music Association’s ‘Summer Celebration’ concert takes place at St Andrew’s Church, Gorleston, on Monday 9th July 2018. It features GYSMA’s two orchestras: Gysmo and GysmoKeys plus soloists from each orchestra. It is free to attend but there will be a collection at the end, all the proceeds going towards the orchestras.
