Since March 2018 a new Local Cultural Education Partnership (LCEP) for Kings Lynn and West Norfolk has been emerging. The aim of the Partnership is to address some of the challenges around implementing arts and culture in formal education locally and to provide an opportunity for more collaboration between the culture and education sectors within the area through both curricular and extra-curricular activity for children and young people.
The Partnership is open to anyone interested in cultural education across West Norfolk, specifically but not exclusively formal education representatives or those working in community education, as well as arts, culture or heritage organisations, artists and others making work for or influencing the field of cultural education. There will be a variety of ways in which people can engage with the Partnership – meeting attendance, newsletter contribution and/or receipt, consultation and commissioning opportunities.
To inform the work of the new and growing Partnership we would appreciate your time (roughly 6 minutes) to take the survey and tell us about your setting and the challenges you face in delivering arts and culture here. There is also an opportunity to register your interest in new ideas and activities and to subscribe to a regular newsletter of related matters.
