With different Charanga schemes and approaches available, choosing the right pathway for your school can sometimes feel overwhelming. This practical session will help teachers and music leaders understand the key differences between the available schemes and identify which approach best suits their pupils, staff and curriculum priorities.
We will explore progression, lesson structure, assessment, creativity, technology, instrumental learning and teacher support, highlighting the strengths of each approach. The session will also consider how schools currently using the Original Scheme might transition to the Creative Music Scheme and the additional opportunities it provides.
Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of the options available and the confidence to make informed decisions about music provision in their own setting.
