A magical evening of music, wildlife and family fun – completely free for Norfolk County Council foster families
We’re delighted to invite you to Savannah Sundown at Banham Zoo, a special twilight celebration taking place from 5:00pm–7:30pm on Sunday 7th June 2026.
The zoo will be open exclusively for this event only, giving families a rare chance to enjoy the animals as the sun begins to set while experiencing a vibrant, festival‑style showcase of young musical talent from across the region.
The evening will feature performances from some of the area’s most inspiring young musicians, including:
- Echoes of the East: national finalists at Music for Youth in Birmingham
- Sounds of the East: who performed at the Royal Albert Hall last November as one of the UK’s leading youth music groups
- Indigo: fresh from our regional festival at Gorleston Pavillion
- Silhouettes: last year’s Battle of the Bands winners
They’ll be joined on stage by a very special guest, making this an event you truly won’t want to miss.
Families are welcome to:
- Wander the zoo
- Bring a picnic
- Or enjoy food from a selection of on‑site vendors
Tickets are free for Norfolk Fostering Service families and can be booked here:
