Applications Now Open for Triorca’s 9th International Summer School

Tue 18 November 2025

Triorca is inviting young musicians aged 16–26 from the UK, Germany, Serbia and France to apply for its 9th International Summer School, taking place in July 2025 in the picturesque city of Koblenz.

Following a landmark year – including Triorca’s first tour to Rouen and a breathtaking concert in the Cathédrale Notre-Dame – the orchestra looks ahead to another inspiring summer of music, friendship and collaboration.

The course will once again be held at the Landesmusikakademie Rheinland-Pfalz in Neuwied-Engers, set within the historic Baroque Schloss Engers, a place that has welcomed world-renowned artists such as Voces8, Bobby McFerrin and Steven Isserlis.

Under the guidance of exceptional tutors, participants will refine their craft, form lasting friendships and perform as part of a vibrant international ensemble. A minimum standard of Grade 6 or equivalent is required, but the course welcomes all young musicians who enjoy playing and want to improve.

More than 500 players have taken part in Triorca so far, sharing unique musical and cultural experiences that bring the twinned cities of Norwich, Koblenz, Novi Sad and Rouen together.

Triorca is also delighted to welcome back internationally renowned oboist and conductor Nicholas Daniel OBE, who will lead the 2026 Summer School.
