Christmas Jumper Day Song by Chris Warren

To help raise funds for Save The Children

We are thrilled to be partnering with Chris Warren, who is a Music Co-ordinator at St Matthew’s Church of England Primary School in Ipswich, to give thousands of young people across Norfolk and Suffolk Primary and Complex Needs settings the opportunity to be part of a video created to raise awareness of Save the Children.

Chris has written a new piece entitled ‘Christmas Jumper Day’ and is asking schools across the two counties to submit either photos or videos of their students wearing a Christmas Jumper that can be included in the video. You will also get access to this original piece of music (backing track, rehearsal track, sheet music and lyrics), that you can use with your students.

Although this song is entitled Christmas Jumper Day, the song does not have any religious content, it celebrates young people coming together in their coloured jumpers. The first line of the song is “Not everybody celebrates Christmas day. If it’s ‘cos of your religion, then that’s ok”
